Commercial Cleaning FAQs — Bondi 2026

These are the questions Bondi NSW 2026 business owners, practice managers and strata committees actually ask us before signing anything — what it costs, what the contract says, who is walking into the building after hours, and how a cleaner deals with the sand and salt that come with trading a hundred metres from Campbell Parade. Pro Clean Corp services Bondi 2026 and surrounds; if your question is not answered below, call 1300 494 983.

Pricing & Quotes

How much does commercial cleaning cost in Bondi?

Ongoing contracts run $30 to $45 per hour and one-off cleans $40 to $50 per hour across Bondi 2026, always converted to a fixed monthly or fixed total figure after a free walkthrough. Small sites on a regular schedule commonly land between $700 and $2,400 per month.

Do you charge for a walkthrough or quote?

No. Both are free, and the quote comes back itemised area by area with hours shown so you can compare it honestly against another bid rather than comparing two mystery totals.

Are your prices ex-GST?

The hourly bands we publish are ex-GST. Every written quote shows the ex-GST figure and the GST-inclusive total side by side so there is no surprise at invoice time.

Is there a minimum visit length?

On a regular contract the practical minimum is 90 minutes per attendance, which suits the small tenancies along Hall Street and Gould Street. One-off jobs are quoted as a fixed total, not padded to a half-day minimum.

Do you discount multiple sites?

Yes. Two or more premises across Bondi and the surrounding suburbs are quoted at portfolio pricing, typically five to ten percent below the same sites quoted separately, on one agreement and one invoice.

Contracts & Terms

Do you use lock-in contracts?

No. Every agreement is month-to-month with 30 days written notice. We would rather earn the renewal each month than rely on a penalty clause to keep a client who is unhappy.

Can we change the scope once we have started?

Yes — the scope is a living document. Add a room, drop a visit, add a quarterly carpet extraction; the monthly price is re-fixed in writing and applies from the next billing cycle.

What if a clean is not up to standard?

Flag it and we re-clean the missed item free of charge, usually within 24 hours. Repeat issues trigger a supervisor site review, and because terms are month-to-month you are never trapped if we cannot fix it.

How much notice do you need to start?

Most Bondi sites are live within a week of quote approval. Urgent starts — a contractor has walked out, or a landlord inspection is looming — can often be covered inside 48 hours.

Staff, Insurance & Safety

Are your cleaners police-checked?

Every cleaner holds a current national police check before their first shift on any Bondi site. Childcare and school sites additionally require a verified NSW Working With Children Check, copied into your site folder.

What insurance do you carry?

Pro Clean Corp carries $20 million public liability insurance, workers compensation and professional indemnity. Certificates of currency are supplied to landlords, strata managers and building management with the quote.

Will we get the same cleaners every visit?

Yes. A consistent team is assigned to your site and inducted on your access, alarms and scope. Planned absences are notified in advance and covered by a cleaner who has been cleared and briefed first.

How do you handle keys, fobs and alarm codes?

Keys and access fobs sit under a signed register, alarm codes are stored encrypted and restricted to your assigned team, and every entry and exit is logged. Lost-key protocol includes immediate notification and locksmith cover.

What products do you use?

TGA-approved hospital-grade disinfectant on clinical and high-touch surfaces at labelled dwell times, commercial-grade low-odour products elsewhere, and fragrance-free low-tox options for childcare and sensitive sites. Safety data sheets are filed at your premises.

Bondi-Specific Questions

How do you deal with sand in a beachside business?

Sand is extracted at entry zones every visit rather than mopped around, entry mats are lifted and beaten, and floor edges, door tracks and shelving bases are vacuumed because sand packs into them. Over summer we lift entry-zone frequency instead of pretending a winter roster will cope.

What about salt film on shopfront glass?

It reforms within days on Campbell Parade frontages, so glass is cleaned last in the visit sequence and treated with a coastal-appropriate method. Exposed aluminium frames, rails and balustrades go on a documented fresh-water rinse cycle to slow corrosion.

Can you get equipment in when parking is impossible?

Yes — we schedule Bondi attendances early, before beach traffic builds, and our crews carry compact equipment sized for stair access and residential lifts. Sites near the Bondi Beach Pavilion and the Hall Street pedestrian zone are rostered first on the run.

Do you cope with the summer trade peak?

We plan for it. Frequency steps up over the December to February peak for entry zones, bathrooms and food areas, then steps back down in the cooler months so you are not paying summer rates all year.

Which suburbs do you cover from Bondi?

Bondi 2026 plus North Bondi 2026, Bondi Junction 2022, Tamarama 2026, Waverley 2024, Dover Heights 2030 and Charing Cross 2024. Each has its own coverage page on this site and all are on the same rate card.

Services & Scheduling

What kinds of premises do you clean?

Retail and shopfronts, cafes and restaurants, gyms and studios, offices, strata common property, medical and allied health rooms, childcare centres, and commercial end of lease cleans. Each has its own scope template and a dedicated page on this site.

When do your crews work?

Mostly outside trading hours — 4.30am to 8am for food and retail, 6pm to midnight for offices and clinics, overnight for extended-hours gyms, and after closure for childcare. Weekend and public holiday work is available by arrangement.

Do you supply consumables?

If you want us to. Most clients have us manage bin liners, paper, soap and sanitiser at cost plus a small handling margin so nothing runs out mid-week. You can also keep supplying your own and we will just restock it.

Do you do carpet and hard-floor work?

Yes — hot-water carpet extraction, machine scrubbing, and strip and seal for vinyl and VCT, available as scheduled extras on any contract or as standalone projects. These are quoted per job rather than inside the hourly band.

Where can I read your pricing in detail?

The rate card with full tier inclusions is on the cleaning rates Bondi page, and worked monthly examples by site type are on the commercial cleaning cost Bondi page.
